For , my design for the White Rabbit. Except, this is my take. :U So sue me.

The White Rabbit is a guild of sorts that is a group of mercenaries banded together in order to gain 'orders', to be hired depending upon what they are needed for. There are different specialists for different areas, and depending upon the order you give them, they'll send a different person. They all can be spotted out by the pocketwatch they all carry somewhere on their person.

Tem Lionmane: The boy on the left. While the White Rabbit really is a team just acting together and are self-governed, if anybody was a leader, it'd be him. He keeps them together.

He looks to be not a day over fourteen, however he is a mythical beast, therefore he ages much slower. Mentally he is more mature than most adults, very knowledgeable, and quite sophisticated. However, he has the tendency to act on impulse when in tight situations just like a teenager would.
He's 5'3", and weighs 110 lbs, which is underweight for his apparent age and quite short. It's quite possible that his growth is stunted, but by what means it is unsure.


His strength lies in his smarts. He knows a lot about many races from different worlds as well as their own, he's well learned, and can be hired as a strategist or other such jobs needing brains. He's a great planner and tries to think before he acts, but when pressured, tends to fly off the handle and acts without a second thought. He cannot see out of his marble eye, so he doesn't have depth perception or good balance. He is also missing an arm, so he has a hard time multitasking or carrying things. In fact, if struck on his left side, he doesn't have any defense or balance or way or stopping or seeing the assault.

Tem is a manticore, a beast with the face of a man, the body of a lion, and the tail of a scorpion. However, due to a potion created specifically to give any beast a human form, he manages to retain human features as long as the potion is in effect. That would be a good thing, except that the potion is extremely addictive, like a drug. He needs that potion, so he is physically unable to turn back into his manticore form or else he will suffer extreme withdrawal. Most of his funds go towards this potion, and he will take it much more than necessary at one time.

Tem should be strong physically, but his arm messes that up. He used to work as a mercinary on a battlefield as well as a strategist. However in one certain battle, the side he was working on lost. He was put in a terrible physical and mental state, not to mention his eye and arm were missing completely. Since then, he refuses to have anything to do with any battles except to make up strategies.

Tem is antisocial, cold, a bit of a shut-in, and blunt. He's mentally unstable as well. That has nothing to do with his smarts, though. He is a natural leader and takes the orders for the White Rabbit himself, also deciding who is the best for the job. |D So he keeps things in the order together, but he just can't take care of himself.

Swallow: His name is exactly what he is. A barn swallow. |D He's the top messenger for the White Rabbit, delivering and gathering messages. His only deal is that he doesn't work on stormy days.

He's sixteen, making him older than Tem as he makes a point of. But as far as mental capacity goes, he acts like a child and isn't very smart. He just knows how to get a job done.
He is only seven inches tall, a normal height for a barn swallow. His wingspan is thirteen inches. He weighs 0.60 ounces.


While this boy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, man, is he fast. He's the fastest of any of the White Rabbit mercenaries as long as the weather's good and he's in the air. On foot, he's pretty slow. |D;; And while he isn't smart, he can memorize routes and shortcuts like no other, and can figure out how the weather will be and can judge where the best updrafts will be. He's pretty responsible with the messages he's given too, although he's somewhat of a motormouth.
There's not much that's interesting about him, although he likes picking fights, especially when he knows he can run away from them. He's a coward like that... Can start something, but not finish it. |D;; He's also a flirt, but his pickup lines are the worst. He has the cheesiest sense of humor, too.
He doesn't get along well with Tem, but is extremely loyal to him and wouldn't betray him if it killed him. He likes June, though.

June:
Probably one of the only members of White Rabbit who is actually a white rabbit. |D Probably the only ones that is a rabbit regardless. She is good at a lot of things and is sent out for random tasks, as well as putting word-in-mouth, convincing people to change their mind of something, and find and tempt Alices into Wonderland. She can be considered second in command of the White Rabbit.

June is the oldest out of the three, being 20.
She's 5'6", but women never reveal her weight. ;3
She has white hair, pale skin, and red eyes. Yep, she's albino.

She's fast, clever, good at any little mundane task, and is good at convincing people, whether she's threatening them, making them curious of something, or seducing them.
She's rather enigmatic, her past is a mystery, but she's a hard worker, a bit of a ditz, but street smart. She has both cute and sex appeal going for her. |D She has a weakness for children and won't take any request that concern harming them or tricking them in any way (Except if they are Alices. She'll gladly drag them to Wonderland. :3)

However, while she loves children, she doesn't like Tem and how he has more or less taken the role of leader. June tends to play mind games with him, trying to break his already fragmented mind and make him either step down or kill himself. Until she succeeds, she'll follow his orders obediently.

I finally figured out how to make the image that I scan bigger than the original, thus increasing the quality of the picture scanned. c: I'm really pleased.

Done in crayola and prismacolor pencil, inked with Micron Sakura inking pens, highlighted with white gel pen, and the background is chalk pastel applied with a watercolor paint brush.
